* Diheptyl succinate is used as a silicone replacement in cosmetic products. It is generally found in formulas with capryloyl glycerin/sebacic acid copolymer. Depending on their ratio, the two ingredients together can mimic a super-light skin feel similar to that of dimethicone (silicone).
