What are the recommendations before and after treatment?
Before treatment
- Avoid sun exposure before treatment 7 days before treatment.
- Avoid using exfoliants 7 days before treatment.
- Avoid any sensitizing active ingredients (salicylic acid, retinol and hydroquinone 7 days before treatment.
- Avoid self-tanning 3 weeks before treatment.
After treatment
- Do not apply makeup on your face for 48 hours following treatment.
- Clean your skin with a mild cleanser and lukewarm water while it heals.
- Avoid spa and sauna for 48 hours.
- Avoid touching or rubbing the treated area for at least 48 hours following treatment.
- Avoid intense physical exercise for 24 to 48 hours following treatment.
- Do not remove or scrape small encrustations from the skin.
- Avoid any exfoliants for 2 weeks following treatment.
- Avoid retinol and salycilic acid 7 days before treatment and 7 days following treatment.
- Avoid exposure to direct UV rays 1 week following treatment and 3 months without SPF protection.
- Use a recommended hydrating serum 2 times daily while healing is complete
Is it painful?
