How does tattoo removal work?
Laser energy is delivered to the tattoo, targeting the ink and breaking it down into smaller particles. The particles are removed by the body's natural processes causing the tattoo ink to lighten. The results appear over the weeks following the treatments.
How many sessions will I need and at what interval?
The number of sessions depends on several factors such as appointment attendance, type of ink, tattoo technique, date of tattoo and lifestyle habits. Sessions are done on average every 8 weeks. On average 3 to 9 sessions are necessary to obtain results.
Is it painful?
The session can be painful, which is why the skin is previously cooled a few minutes before starting the treatment and during using the upper cooler.
The duration of a session varies from a few minutes to 45 minutes depending on the area to be treated and the importance of the tattoo.
What will my skin look like after laser treatment?

What are the contraindications?

What are the recommendations before and after treatment?
More details will be given to you during your appointment, here are the main recommendations.
Before treatment
- No exposure to the sun, tanning beds and self-tanning cream for 4 weeks before treatment
- No photosensitizing product on the area to be treated
After treatment
Gently clean the treated area twice a day with water and mild soap
Moisturize the area twice a day with the appropriate ointment
Avoid all exposure to the sun between treatments
Avoid any sport during the healing period
Do not rub or scratch the treated area
No swimming pool, spa, sauna during the healing period
Does tattoo removal leave scars?
